Presented by author, professor and World of Women Ambassador Elizabeth Johnston.
Before my consultation with Elizabeth, I had been feeling a bit stuck with my writing, reading my same stories over and over again. Upon meeting with her, I am excited to explore the many avenues for potential publishing and writing ideas we discussed. She was insightful, sincere and answered all my questions with finesse, giving me great suggestions for reading materials and ways to get inspired again. I can't wait to get started and look forward to her upcoming classes and workshops!
Rebecca Besnos, Montreal
She's good.

Elizabeth, your Basic Screenwriting Seminar was exactly what I was looking for. It was a great overview of the essential activities involved in writing a screenplay. It really demystified the process for me. I especially liked the practical content in your workbook and I'm sure I will be able to use it in the future. If this doesn't get me started, nothing will!
Shaun Fawcett, M.B.A.
Thank you for a great seminar. I really enjoyed meeting you, loved your teaching style and got a lot out of the class. As a bonus, I felt that we all got along really well. It was a great day! Please let us know if you will be returning to Toronto to host any other classes.
Many thanks, Laura
Elizabeth, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the seminar yesterday! It was exactly what I had hoped it to be, so informative, and it gave me a great new perspective for my acting work as well as a fresh new start to my writing. I had a great day and the time flew by!
Natalie Roy
Thank you for your sound coaching. I needed the push to address the peripheral and yet important aspects of my writing. Your advice helped me to think outside the box and consider the technology and networks available to me. I have since completed my website (which I had been dreading), blown the dust off the draft of a novel I had shelved, and received hopeful news from a publisher on my most recent manuscript. I also want to take this opportunity to tell you how much I appreciated your workshops. You were super-well organized and shared tons of useful information. Your practical experience is a bonus.
Elaine Arsenault, Montreal, Qc
I took Elizabeth's workshop on writing screenplays many years ago yet I still remember vividly what we discussed and how accessible she made it all for the group. That's what I call excellent teaching! I continue to learn from her and to be inspired by her dedication to the craft of writing.
Ingrid Berzins, Sarasota/Montreal
I thought I knew the basics from reading online and websites, but I didn't. I took away a lot from this class and can't wait to get started on my script.
Vanessa Crimi
Elizabeth is very patient. She makes class fun! A very generous and warm teacher.
David Turpie
This workshop delivered exactly as promised: clear, concise instructions on how to get started, and how to think of your story as a screenwriter.
Natalie Willett
The seminar went beyond my expectation. I'm almost sad to say goodbye. The participants, and you, were so interesting. There was a lot of heart.
Kathryn Ayres
Brava to a real great teacher! I have found that you have helped me immensely, and certainly inspired me to actually begin what I have wanted to do for some time. All of your suggestions and exercises have been most helpful, and getting the participants involved with criticism of others' work is both interesting and worthwhile.
Virginia LeMoyne, Montreal, Qc
Wish I could have taken this long ago.
Mary Ann Taylor, Montreal, Qc
You have the ability to unlock whatever 'treasures' are in my mind. Your guidance and direction were just what I needed.
Marilyn Golden, Pierrefonds, Qc

The poetry writing seminar was excellent, since it proved that with proper prompting and guidance anyone can generate inspiring poetry. The exercises you prepared were excellent stimuli !
Michael Primiani, Montreal, Qc
I was very inspired by your method of focusing our writing on everyday subjects. It surely made me very attentive in class and I was able to produce beyond my own expectation.

Creative exercises and support have helped me regain confidence in my mixed career as an artist and writer after moving from Calgary back to my hometown, Montreal.
